On this day in history

Today over the radio, in unrelated news stories, I heard two different phrases:

"...former President George W. Bush..."

and "President Barack Obama".


Both hit me as completely surreal.

But what brought me here in the first place was to just say that today I finally had a strong idea for a new series of prints. Probably one of my best ideas since moving to New York two and a half years ago. I am excited and, oddly, sort of relieved.

I just wanted to write that down somewhere before I forgot.

ooops.

I just accidentally deleted my old defunct blog I've had since 2004, which hasn't been touched since 2006.

Anyway, it's up and running again, just so I can continue indefinitely contributing to Internet clutter.
